Scottsdales
year-round sunshine and its beautiful Sonoran Desert location have made
it a playground paradise for vacationers.
Every season is a great season in Scottsdale, weather-wise there is not
a bad time to visit. Winter is considered prime time in Scottsdale where
on most days, temperatures normally hit the mid to upper 60s. April doesnt
bring showers, in fact it is one of the driest months of the year but
there really isnt a rainy month to be found here. The spring and
fall seasons are closer to summer weather in comparison to the rest of
the nation. Summer days can get quite hot, but the lack of humidity makes
it feel much cooler. Desert convection plays an integral part in cooling
the summer evenings down to very comfortable temperatures.
Renown for the amazing number of sunny days per year, it is this enjoyable
climate which makes Scottsdale a year-round vacation destination. Amazing
vistas, mountains, canyons and gorges draw hikers, jeep tourists, hot
air balloonist and golfers from around the world. The environment and
wildlife inspires artists who have made the area one of the largest art
colonies in America. Like the native population of old, people are drawn
here for many reasons, one of them is the marvelous weather. Scottsdale
is located in Paradise Valley and that by weather standards, says it all.
